Keep your prayers coming for the Fisher's!
Fishers/cross.jpg
It is with great sorrow that we announce that Steve Fisher passed away at 10:25am Monday, February 1, 2010.  Kathiann and all four boys were by his side when he went to heaven.  Steve's fight is over, AMEN.

On the wet, cold evening of Wednesday, February 3rd, hundreds of people from the Katy Community gathered  (and we aren't talking football) into the stands of TIGER STADIUM to honor the greatness of Mr. Steve Fisher.   The candlelight vigil was filled with many prayers and tears.  Several friends spoke at the event to share thoughts about Steve’s spirited and strong will to survive.  Steve coached youth baseball and football for the past 12 years and has touched so many lives that he will never be forgotten.  Steve was a wonderful husband, friend and a stupendous father.  Click here to view the clip that Channel 2 news aired the night of the event.

Steve Fisher was diagnosised with Pancreatic Cancer in April of 2009.  Together with MD Anderson, Family and Friends, Steve AGRESSIVELY hit the ground running to fight this disease.  To date he has undergone numerous types of treatments including clinicals and chemo. This horrible monster continues to persevere through every treatment so far.  Steve remains strong in heart and faith.

Steve has been married to Kathiann for over 23 years and has 4 sons; Jonathon (18), Alex (14), Patrick (12) and Joseph (10).  Steve and Kathiann are originally from Pennsylvania but have made their "home" in Katy, Texas for over 10 years.  Steve works for BMC Software and continues to support his position as health allows.
